Benfica need to not look past this weekend's game

Benfica Blog
Benfica have a huge midweek encounter at the Luz against Atletico Madrid when the resume Champions League play but due to their poor start under former manager Roger Schmidt, the club needs to make sure to not look past this weekend's encounter against league side Gil Vicente.

Benfica's form has been much better since the arrival of Bruno Lage to the sidelines and they have moved back into the top three in Portugal but Sporting's sizzling start to the season sees the club sit eight points behind their Lisbon rivals with a game in hand.

Benfica bench boss Bruno Lage may look at making some minor tweaks to his starting eleven as he looks to give some players a rest with this being the club's fourth game in the past two weeks. Benfica faces Gil Vicente later today at the Luz.
