Benfica Blog
Benfica have departed England after spending the past week of their pre-season at St. George's Park and have arrived in Basel, Switzerland. Benfica are set for their second friendly tomorrow against the Swiss club after opening their pre-season with a 2-0 win over Southampton earlier this week.

Benfica are expecting 20,000 supporters to be in the stands at St. Jakob Park as they face Basel for the first time in Switzerland since an embarrassing 5-0 thrashing during the 2017/18 Champions League group stage when Rui Vitoria was at the helm.
