Benfica move for an injured Mattia Perin

Benfica and Juventus are said to have postponed their deal which involved keeper Mattia Perin for the next few months after Perin failed his medicals in Lisbon today and reports coming from Portugal is that Perin would be out with an injury for the next four months. Perin will return to Juventus to recover from his injury and the clubs will look at completing the deal during the winter transfer window. This news should mean that current team number one Odysseas Vladchodimos would not be leaving the club anytime soon with Benfica's opening to the season just a couple of weeks away.
