Benfica being linked with another keeper

Benfica Blog
According to reports from German magazine Kicker, Benfica is being linked with Freiburg starting keeper Alexander Schwolow. Benfica have already held talks in the past with Freiburg about central defender Robin Koch but it is unknown if the Lisbon side discussed Schwolow with the German club at the same time. The 27 year old German keeper is said to have an €8M buy out clause and has also garnered interest from Dutch side Ajax. Benfica are currently in talks with Boavista about acquiring starter Helton Leite but with interest growing in Leite's services from English clubs, Benfica may be looking at a fall back plan if the Leite deal falls through. Schwolow has been with Freiburg since joining their youth side in 2008 and has appeared in 160 career games in goal across all competitions, recording 37 clean sheets.

Benfica looking at Perugia attacking midfielder

Benfica Blog
According to reports out of Italy, Benfica are said to be one of the clubs that are interested in Perugia's attacking midfielder Vlad Dragomir. The 21 year old Romanian is said to be available for a very reasonable €3M due to the hardships that the second division Italian club are facing because of the current COVID-19 pandemic. Dragomir spent three seasons with Arsenal's youth side before joining Perugia in the summer of 2018. The Romanian has appeared in 20 games across all competitions for Perugia setting up three goals and this move by Benfica looks to be a depth move by the club at a reasonable price.
