Benfica lose midfielder Gabriel to injury for more then month

Benfica have received the injury prognosis on midfielder Gabriel and the reports are that he will miss the next 4 to 6 weeks with a sprained right knee and some damage to his external lateral ligament. Gabriel suffered the injury in Benfica's Super Cup victory over Sporting this past Sunday which saw the midfielder substituted in the 82nd minute of the game. Gabriel suffered a sprained left knee in April of the past season that ended his campaign early. Gabriel's second trip to the infirmary in less then 6 months have Benfica second guessing if they should let defensive midfielder Fejsa leave the club during the current transfer window and the club could hold on to the Serbian as insurance.
